BookTube-A-Thon :)

Hi :) I'm going to participate in the BookTube-A-Thon that was made by ArielBissett and Padfootandprings07 (go check them out ;) ) which basically is a read-thon but with challenges. 7 to be exact. It's going to happen from 15th July to 21st July. a whole week. And these are the books i chose:

1) Read a book with over 500 pages.

It by Stephen King. Published 1987. 1090 pages.

"The story follows the exploits of seven children as they are terrorized by an eponymous being, which exploits the fears and phobias of its victims in order to disguise itself while hunting its prey. "It" primarily appears in the form of a clown in order to attract its preferred prey of young children."

I'm so freakin' excited for this book! I never read anything by Stephen King, only good things I've heard about him.

2) re-read one book.

The Fault in our Stars by John Green. Published 2012. 318 pages

"Despite the tumor-shrinking medical miracle that has bought her a few years, Hazel has never been anything but terminal, her final chapter inscribed upon diagnosis. But when a gorgeous plot twist named Augustus Waters suddenly appears at Cancer Kid Support Group, Hazel's story is about to be completely rewritten."

I don't think words would do justice to my love for this book. I loved every single word in it, very well written. And I'm pretty sure I'm going to cry all over again.

3) Finish a series or trilogy.

Sea of Monsters by Rick Riordan. Published 2006. 279 pages.

"In this episode, The Sea of Monsters, Percy sets out to retrieve the Golden Fleece before his summer camp is destroyed, surpassing the first book's drama and setting the stage for more thrills to come"

Unfortunately, I only have this one with me. I'm in Italy for the whole summer vacation and I brought a limited number of books I have the rest of the series back in home but I think this could work. I hope it doesn't count as cheating.

4) Read a book that's been on your shelf forever.

Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. Published 1813. 279 Pages.

"So begins Pride and Prejudice, Jane Austen's witty comedy of manners--one of the most popular novels of all time--that features splendidly civilized sparring between the proud Mr. Darcy and the prejudiced Elizabeth Bennet as they play out their spirited courtship in a series of eighteenth-century drawing-room intrigues."

I wanted to read this book since forever and i think now it's the best timing. Just a random thing I don't like the copy i have, I saw pretty good ones, mine definitely not one of them.

5) Listen to an audio book.

I don't have one. :(

6) Read a classic

The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald. Published 1925. 180 pages.

"Self-made, self-invented millionaire Jay Gatsby embodies some of Fitzgerald's--and his country's--most abiding obsessions: money, ambition, greed, and the promise of new beginnings. "Gatsby believed in the green light, the orgiastic future that year by year recedes before us. It eluded us then, but that's no matter--tomorrow we will run faster, stretch out our arms farther.... And one fine morning--" Gatsby's rise to glory and eventual fall from grace becomes a kind of cautionary tale about the American Dream."

I'm pretty excited for this one too. I also don't like the cover.

7) Read an average of 300 pages a day.

All the book has in total of 2178 pages

so i need to read 311 pages a day.

And that's it :) wish me luck and if you participating too I'd be really happy to know what your going to read.
